Debra and Doug Lellbach have always dreamed of being in business together. After blazing their own trails as entrepreneurs, they have merged their talents to make Naperville and the western suburbs more beautiful, one house at a time.

While Doug Lellbach has owned and operated Lellbach Builders since 1988 the company has recently gained the considerable talents of Debra Lellbach on a full-time basis. Very few builders have a professional designer on staff and it offers their clients a complete package and a new peace of mind for their home projects.

After attending Illinois State University, Doug entered the construction business and has been there since 1978, with many years of hands-on and project management experience. As the owner of Lellbach Builders, he earned a reputation for being honest and timely. His insistence on excellence earned him a feature spot on HDTV’s Before and After show, which showcases dramatic whole-home remodeling projects from start to finish.

Debra has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Drake University and gained early experience as a store planner for Paul Harris and as branch designer for Business Interiors. In 1989 Debra opened her own interior design business serving local businesses and residents. She soon assumed responsibility of ownership and operation of The Extra Closet Self-Storage. Debra and The Extra Closet earned numerous business awards, including the Business Ledger’s Excellence in Business Award and Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award. Debra has always been active in the community, offering time support and services to a variety of organizations. She served as the 2007/2008 Chairman of the Board of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Doug has been extremely active in local Boy Scouts for many years. He is an Eagle Scout and he worked with his sons to help them achieve their Eagle Scout ranks as well. Though his sons are grown, he continues to offer his services and expertise to the Boy Scouts and believes solidly in its principles of loyalty, honesty and integrity.

Together, Doug and Debra make an unbeatable pair. They give their clients quality construction, beautifully and functionally designed.
