I love color! But I have to admit this year I am discovering that the “Color of the Year” crown is not a clear winner. Probably not a bad thing, since there are so many colors. But, in our roles as a remodeling contractor and a designer, Doug & I find not having a clear direction for our clients can be unsettling. (Of course, there are seldom clear directions we can give our clients on anything- too many options :)) So, I will share with you my top 3 reliable source findings & you can see my dilemma & frustration!

Pantone is claiming that Emerald Green“Lively. Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty  that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony” is color of the year for 2013.

The more I searched, I found no one common winner! But, there are color palettes where all these winners and others co-exist. This is where the magic begins and your home project can come to life!
